Travelling to UAE for treatment

World-class facilities and short travel times from across the Gulf and Africa.

Why patients come here

The UAE has invested heavily in bringing internationally trained consultants and established hospital brands into the country, and it shows in diagnostics, orthopaedics, cardiac care and fertility treatment. For patients across the Gulf, East Africa and South Asia it is often the shortest journey to care of this standard — which matters more than it sounds when you are unwell before you even set off.

Getting there

Visas are straightforward for most nationalities and frequently issued on arrival, and Dubai and Abu Dhabi are among the best-connected airports anywhere. Short flight times also make it practical to come for a diagnostic opinion first and decide afterwards, rather than committing to treatment before you have been examined.

Being here while you recover

Accommodation, pharmacies and transport are all easy, and Arabic and English are both widely used in the hospitals — so the language barrier that complicates recovery elsewhere is largely absent. Summer heat is severe, which is worth planning around for anything involving mobility or wound care.

What we arrange

Consultant appointments, a written estimate, transfers, accommodation close to the hospital, and the follow-up plan. Where a second opinion before travelling would be useful, we will arrange that first rather than after you have flown.
